At the Eurobus Expo exhibition this week Arriva Bus and Coach joined forces with manufacturer partners to cover two large vehicle displays and an outdoor vehicle arena.
On the Van Hool stand two loyal customers of Arriva Bus and Coach showcased their new vehicles. Sharpes of Nottingham proudly displayed their very impressive new tri-axle EX16H coach in striking livery and Reays Coaches had their new TX15 Alicron on the stand showcasing not only a new vehicle but an attractive new livery.
In the outdoor vehicle display area there was a Van Hool EX15H. Not currently available to the UK market. This particular model came from France, therefore was LHD and 51 seats. The UK spec available would be slightly different with maximum capacity of 49 seats due to weight restrictions.
On the Temsa stand the vehicles on display had a slightly different feel, the centre of attention being a Safari HD which had been converted into a bar on the inside. Other vehicles on teh stand included an MD9 Executive for Lynns Travel of Eastbourne and a Temsa LD13.
Similarly to the Van Hool EX15H vehicle, the Temsa LD13 is not currently available in the UK. This vehicle was presented for operator feedback to aid Arriva’s decision in bringing a third Temsa product to the UK.
Outside Temsa vehicles included a Temsa Safari HD and an MD9 Max.
The event proved to be very successful for Arriva Bus and Coach, Van Hool and Temsa with all companies leaving with many leads to follow up on over the coming days. Thank you to all visitors that visited both stands in support of Arriva Bus and Coach.
